Last week I flew to Barcelona to meet with fantastic Spanish wedding dress designers Pronovias and also Rosa Clara.
The trip was amazing as I witnessed catwalk shows, bridal displays and with other buyers around me I could see which dresses got the most attention, I could see the quality of the fabrics and the attention to detail in front of me.
When choosing my 2016 collection, I have to continuously be thinking of my customer and also noting current fashion trends.
I have also limited my retail price in store as £2000 maximum so with this in mind I shopped to find a perfect combination.
- Lace is still a huge factor in the bridal industry.
- One shoulder dresses in 2016 are dying. This makes me really sad as I love them.
- Removable jackets and skirts is also an option.
- Colour is coming into play with both designers offering a few alternatives with rose colours, peaches and a mix of ivory and beige. I came across one ombre dress but opted to stick with a full colour rather than a mix from head to toe.
I am excited to announce my collection has a mix of a-line and fishtail styles, many dresses have lace, beaded dresses, mikado, satins and new fabrics coming into store will be announced sooner to the arrival as they are surprise fabrics
There will be a mix of strapless, backless, detailed backs, straps, off the shoulders and also v neck dresses.
The 2016 collections will be arriving in store between July 2015- end of September 2015 depending on availability, designer and manufacturing.
